I know it is hard to believe, but the end of the year is rapidly approaching and it is time to start preparing our Annual Report. OSLC’s various groups and committees each write a report for our Annual Report. Many of you have written for our annual report before, but we are asking a some of you to write a report for the first time this year. You can enlist co-committee members to assist you.
The deadline for reports is Friday, December 20th. When you email your report to me, please format the subject line 2019 Annual Report – Name of Your Section and reply to me at office@oslchanover.org. This will help me see and find the report in the flurry of messages that will be arriving. Please keep in mind that the due date is the last date I should receive reports by – not the date to start thinking about reports. There is a short window for compiling the reports, proofreading, editing, adding photos and getting the document ready for the congregation’s review in advance of the meeting. On-time submission is a key part of getting the report done.
If it helps you organize your thoughts and write your report, you may use this Annual Report Template. If the template gets in the way or your thought process, feel free to use a format that you find helpful. Getting your report written and submitted on time is more important than sticking to a particular format.
Some people find peeking at last year’s report and other resources helpful. In that case, you can find the 2018 annual report, OSLC’s Core Values, our Sunday Bulletins, and some issues of the eUpdate are available in the event they may be helpful.
If you have photos that you would like to include in the report, please send those as well. Thank you for all of the good work you do throughout the year and for your help with our Annual Report!
