JUST MOVEMENT:   Creating Equitable Pathways to Migration in the Wake of Climate Disaster

Reports indicate that climate disaster will become the biggest driver of migration in the 21st century. Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS) believes responding to climate displacement is a moral imperative – as both a faith-based organization and a member of the global community. We plan to continue the conversation on building equitable pathways to migration and developing climate-resilient communities. Last week’s webinar included panelist Bill McKibben – Co founder and Senior Advisor at 350.org and The New Yorker Contributing Advisor. If you were unable to attend or would like to share the recording of the webinar it can be viewed below.
