The pandemic has driven prices of used cars to record highs, leaving many of our neighbors unable to afford safe and reliable vehicles. Without a car, these families are literally stuck at a standstill in their lives. Fortunately, a local nonprofit is able to help those in need. Good News Garage was founded in Burlington, VT in 1996 and over the last 25 years, has awarded over 5,500 donated cars to our neighbors. They couldn’t do this life-changing work without the help of generous car donors.
There is currently an urgent need for vehicles! Car donors receive free towing, may qualify for generous tax deductions, and can feel good about putting a neighbor in the driver’s seat towards a better life.
